Frames and Mullions
Northern Contours produces frames using composite core material and solid wood inlay sticking. After the frame has been routed, the visable routed portion is solid wood rather than the composite core. We carry Maple, Cherry, Red Oak, and Walnut solid lumber. The chart shows how they will be paired.
Mouldings
Straight Crown, Cove Crown and 1-1/4” Scribe mouldings are available in all species in 8 foot lengths. Note: Moulding drawings are not to scale. Please refer to dimensions provided.
Overlays
Overlays are available in Metro, Nova, Fusion, and Fusion XT profiles. Minimum width is 2-7/8”; maximum length is 96”. Overlays will be profiled and edgebanded on all 4 sides to match door and drawer fronts. See cut to size panels if raw edges are desired.
Split Overlays
Overlays can be split down the middle to create a variety of accessory items. Minimum width is 3”. Note: we do not cut overlays at our manufacturing facilities. This is simply an idea of how our product can be utilized.
