Available Accessories
Frames and Mullions
Northern Contours offers a variety of frame and mullion styles. For details and availability see the door series section. Frames and mullions are sold without glass inserts. For Eclipse frames and mullions, specify left or right side (as seen when looking at the face of the frame) when ordering. The routed portion of frame and mullion backs can be painted for an additional charge.
Fillers
Fillers are available in fluted or slab styles. Standard flutes start and stop 1” from each end with 1 flute per width inch. Minimum width is 2 ½”; maximum length is 96”. Fillers have B099 edge detail. If square edge is required, order a cut to size panel (edges will be raw). Fillers are available with any of the rosette styles we offer.
Overlays
Overlays are available in fluted or slab styles. Standard flutes start and stop 1” from each end with 1 flute per width inch. Overlays will be profiled on all four edges to match doors and drawer fronts unless otherwise specified. Minimum width is 2 ½”; maximum length is 96”. Overlays are available with any of the rosette styles we offer.
Rosettes
Rosettes may be added to fillers or ordered individually. The 237 rosette is available with glaze in select thermofoils. Outside profiles on all rosettes are as shown. All rosettes are 3” x 3”, manufactured on 3/4” MDF.
Mouldings
Mouldings in a variety of styles are available in all thermofoil colors in 8' lengths. Dentil and Rope detail are available for the Regal crown moulding profile. Note: Moulding drawings are not to scale. Please refer to dimensions provided.
Valances
Valances are available in three styles. The minimum width is 24", maximum is 96" (if woodgrain is running vertically, the maximum width is 48"). If your design varies, please call for a quote. Sides a, b, and c will have B099 edge detail and side d will be profiled to match doors and drawer fronts unless otherwise specified. All valances have a flat shoulder on either side of the arch.
Wine Rack
Scalloped and grid wine racks are available in custom sizes and are sold as 2 piece sets. Wine racks have B099 outside edges and all four edges are pressed with foil. For scalloped style, minimum shoulder width is 1”. The scallop is 3 1/2” and the space between scallops is 1/2”. For grid style, opening is 3 1/4” x 3 1/4”. Maximum width for either style is 46” with woodgrain running vertically.
Shelves
Shelves are available in two styles. Shelves are ¾” thick with a melamine back. Corner shelf widths are always equal, radius is determined by width. End shelf is available in Left End or Right End configurations. Default corner radius is 3”, unless otherwise specified. It can be equal to or smaller than the shortest leg. Primary profiles are available with any Select Series outside profile. Secondary profile is B099. Minimum width is 6”, maximum is 24”.
Appliance Panels
Appliance panels are available for your refrigerator and dishwasher (design permitting) to give your kitchen a finished look. Please check your appliance manufacturer's specifications on sizes, critical dimensions, panel thickness, etc. before ordering. They are available in 2 configurations. Please call customer service for more information and pricing.
Lazy Susans
Thermofoil doors for Lazy Susans are typically profiled on 3 edges and have no profile on the 4th long edge. To specify this, please note in the notes section of your order form "2 short, 1 long." This instructs the plant to profile 2 short sides and 1 long side, leaving the 2nd long side square. If your design varies, contact customer service. Be sure to indicate left and right orientation on your order form if required for arch or cathedral profiles. Lazy susans are not available in Level, Portabella, or the Northwoods, Manchester II, or Manchester III door styles.
